Job summary

Highland Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for 36-hour weeks with 12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30). This full-time role covers day and night shifts at our Highland Hills, OH behavioral health hospital.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment.
• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• 1-year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate patient assessments and identify needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Document medical necessity accurately in the record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely QI assessments.
