Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our full-time team in Ohio. You will address behavioral and physical health needs for clients with psychiatric symptoms and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include health screenings, vital signs, administering injections and medications, education on pharmaceuticals, and coordinating case management.

Qualifications

• RN license and nursing degree are required.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental health, or behavioral health services is preferred.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Address the behavioral and physical health needs of clients receiving treatment for psychiatric symptoms.
• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
