Job summary

The Ohio Hospital for Psychiatry is hiring a Temp Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment, day shift, in Columbus, OH. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license as required by state.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications and document administration per policy.
• Communicate with physicians and care team; monitor patient status.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
