Job summary

Highland Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, in Highland Hills, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our behavioral health team. You will perform patient assessments, implement care plans, and deliver skilled nursing interventions.

Requires an Associate's degree in nursing, active RN license, CPR and de-escalation certification within 30 days; 1 year psychiatric experience preferred. We offer health benefits, 401K, PTO, tuition assistance and free parking.

Qualifications

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Current RN license as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• De-escalation certification within 30 days of employment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
