Job summary

Mercy South Behavioral Health in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time positions with day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) shifts.

The RN will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld. Qualified candidates must graduate from an accredited RN program and hold Missouri RN licensure (or compact licensure) with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for care delivery.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and protect patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate care effectiveness and support bedside direct care staff as needed.
