Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor for the Behavioral Health Unit in Washington, DC. This role oversees daily operations, provides clinical leadership to nurses and staff, and ensures safe, high-quality psychiatric care in alignment with regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have a DC RN license, BSN (preferred), and 3+ years in behavioral health with leadership experience. BLS certification is required, CPI training preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• DC RN License required.
• BSN preferred or BSN in nursing.
• Minimum of 3 years of behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience.
• Previous leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CPI or de-escalation training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Behavioral Health Unit.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing and support staff.
• Monitor patient care to ensure compliance with psychiatric nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Serve as a clinical resource for assessments, crisis intervention, and patient safety.
