Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse in Alabama. The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

The role requires an RN license and BCLS; ACLS/PALS are preferred. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered plus competitive salary and benefits. This is an on-site behavioral health unit position with standard day shifts.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure and BCLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Administers medications and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures and participates in care planning.
• Provides patient and family education and safety in line with standards.
