Job summary

Unison Health in Ohio seeks a Quality Improvement Manager to lead CQI, compliance monitoring, utilization review, medical records oversight, and organizational outcomes for community behavioral health services. The role collaborates with agency leadership, clinical and operational teams, ADAMHS Boards, funders, and partners to monitor performance and support strong outcomes.

The position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of OhioMHAS and TJC standards, and ability to drive policy,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to mental health or social work.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health, quality improvement, utilization review, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health practices, regulatory requirements, and Health Information Management processes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Leads agency-wide Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
• Monitors compliance with OhioMHAS, The Joint Commission, contracts and accreditation requirements.
• Analyzes quality and performance data and presents dashboards and reports to leadership.
• Provides guidance to staff and leadership and coordinates policy reviews.
• Oversees Medical Records and Utilization Review operations and staffing.
• Promotes training and continuous improvement using evidence-based methods like Lean Six Sigma.
