Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Administration, Public Policy, Behavioral, Social or Health Science or related field.
  • One year experience in program management in Public Health, Policy or Data/Evaluation with impact assessment.
  • Six months experience in grant management and control including monitoring expenditures.
  • Knowledge of contract management and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee behavioral health programs and operational support services, including data analysis and program assessment.
  • Ensure quality and compliance with regulatory, certification and accreditation standards.
  • Research and evaluate programs to project trends in service delivery, cost and staffing.
  • Recommend improvements to strengthen treatment and prevention efforts and health outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies, policies and standards for treatment and service systems.
  • Monitor fiscal activities for behavioral health programs and contracted providers.
  • Coordinate public and private behavioral health services to reduce duplication of efforts.
  • Analyze state and local legislation to determine operational impact.
  • Disseminate public information on urgent substance use and mental health concerns.
