Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Program Director to oversee the CalWORKs Behavioral Health Services program in Westminster and Santa Ana. This full‑time role leads clinical and administrative operations, manages budgets, and ensures regulatory compliance while delivering culturally competent, trauma‑informed care.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, monitor program performance, and represent the program in county and community meetings. Occasional local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Current CA license (LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/PhD/PsyD) with supervisory eligibility preferred.
• Proven behavioral health program management or administrative leadership.
• Budget, QA/QI, and compliance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer clinical and operational functions of assigned mental health programs.
• Hire, develop, and supervise staff; manage performance.
• Ensure QA, compliance, chart audits; deploy QA/QI protocols.
• Develop and manage annual budget; produce forecasts and reports.
• Oversee intake, documentation, and regulatory standards.
• Provide leadership in staff training and community relations.
• Represent the program in external meetings and with vendors.
• Take on a caseload as needed, including crisis intervention.
• Maintain licensure, certification standards for self and staff.
• Handle after-hours availability and on-call duties.
