Job summary

AHL Healthcare Group is seeking Behavioral Health Practitioners to implement person-centered ITP plans and assist clients with independent living goals near the UMD campus. The role requires adherence to confidentiality, safety, and documented record keeping in a on-site setting.

Responsibilities include providing supervision per ITP plans, engaging clients with therapeutic interventions, and regular community travel to transport clients, while upholding agency policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have 30 semester hours and 2000 supervised hours in Behavioral Health or related field.
• Or completed practicum or internship in Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 4000 supervised hours for work experience if applicable.
• Weekly clinical supervision from MHP is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement ITP plans to support independent living goals.
• Provide supervision and use therapeutic interventions while ensuring safety.
• Travel within the community to transport clients and support daily activities.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow reporting requirements.

Job description

• Implementing and following the person-centered, positive practice behavior support plan / ITP for individuals to maintain or improve areas of independent living such as symptom management, budgeting, maintaining services, meal prep/planning, employment, etc.
• General knowledge of social services, record keeping, reporting requirements and confidentiality
• Ability to create and follow ITP plans set up for clients and uses creative ways to encourage participation
• Provide support and supervision as defined in each ITP plan, using therapeutic interventions, while ensuring consumer safety
• Regularly travel in the community, transport clients, and assure safe vehicle operation including all passengers wearing a seatbelt, respecting speed limits, following agency policy, maintaining current car insurance, and possessing a valid driver's license at all times

Hours Of Available Positions

Full-Time Roles : Awake Overnight (11:55 pm-8am), every other weekend availability required

Qualifications for Behavioral Health Practitioners at at our IRTS facility close to the UMD campus.

Course Work Qualification Set

30 semester hours AND
