Job summary

Hartford HealthCare seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver direct OT services on the Behavioral Health Unit for adolescents and adults. You will help develop and run group activities and provide individualized treatment according to the patient plan.

Under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will ensure interventions are appropriate and up-to-date, while promoting a caring, respectful environment that supports teamwork and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• State CT OTA license and NBCOT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical OT services on the Behavioral Health Unit for adolescents and adults.
• Develop and coordinate groups and activities.
• Deliver individual and group treatment aligned with the treatment plan; collaborate with the OT to ensure appropriate interventions.
