Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health Services. The role oversees education, training, orientation, and staff development across the Behavioral Health unit at Aurora Pavilion, with clinical leadership spanning nursing teams and regulatory oversight.

Qualified candidates have RN credentials and a Master’s in Nursing preferred; SC licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred; BSN acceptable if pursuing MSN.
• Specialization in behavioral health; related masters degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate education, training, orientation, development and retention of nursing staff.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversight for Behavioral Health Services.
• Lead and mentor nursing associates; oversee psychiatric nursing at Aurora Pavilion.
• Collaborate with corporate and facility leadership to support peer learning and evidence-based practice.
