State of South Carolina is seeking a Nursing Assistant Non-Certified to support behavioral health patients at Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital in Anderson under licensed nursing supervision.

Responsibilities include observing and reporting patient conditions, assisting with personal care, taking vital signs, and supporting treatment plans. Requires a high school diploma or GED; able to lift up to 50 pounds. Bilingual skills are a plus; full-time benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; stand, walk, reach, and climb stairs.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Observe, monitor and report patients' physical and behavioral conditions with age-specific considerations.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, ambulating and personal hygiene.
• Engage with patients in conversation and activities to encourage community participation.
• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation).
• Precept new Behavioral Health Assistants and assist with orientation and care instructions.
• Maintain clinical competency through mandatory and non-mandatory trainings (e.g., CPR, in-services).
