Job summary

Judson Center in Macomb, MI is seeking a Behavioral Health Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care for patients with mental health and behavioral disorders. Under the Medical Director, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, charting, and coordinating with families and community resources. Must have MI RN license and an associate degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan RN licensure.
• Minimum of an Associate degree in Nursing.
• SUD and MAT experience a plus.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate treatment plans.
• Develop therapeutic relationships with clients/parents.
• Assess patient’s mental and physical status based on symptoms.
• Take the lead role and participate in providing medication administrative management and monitoring.
• Provide psycho-education to individuals regarding their diagnosis.
• Refer patients to community resources or specialists as necessary.
• Complete nurse assessments, vitals, and weight; maintain documentation.
