Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN License in the state of practice, and certification as an APRN in the state of practice.
• Licensure corresponding to the practitioner’s specialty area.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, conduct, and prescribe medications for patients.
• Provide emergency services and comprehensive patient examinations as applicable.
• Develop treatment plans and manage patient care with evaluation.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Document medical records and refer patients per regulations.
