Job summary

Clive Behavioral Health West is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations for the Behavioral Health unit at Clive BH Hospital. You will ensure high-quality patient care, supervise RNs and MHTs, and collaborate with the CNO to align staffing and training with accreditation standards.

This role requires a registered nurse license, leadership experience in psychiatric settings, and a commitment to patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current Iowa nursing licensure through the Iowa State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years progressive nursing leadership; psychiatric RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise House Supervisors, RNs, and MHTs to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Assist CNO with evaluating and implementing RN/MHT staff training.
• Oversee staffing needs on assigned shifts.
• Participate in Treatment Team meetings as needed.
