Job summary

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions in Steubenville, OH, seeks a registered nurse to support behavioral and physical health needs of clients across our service area. You will coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners and case managers.

Responsibilities include health screenings, injections, medication monitoring, patient education, and facilitating community services. Candidates should travel throughout the service area, bring nursing credentials, and experience in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license.
• Experience in psychiatric, mental and behavioral health services.
• Willingness to travel throughout assigned service area.
• Preferably has experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

• Perform health care screenings and check vital signs.
• Administering injections and other medications as needed.
• Monitor and administer medication.
• Educate clients on pharmaceuticals.
• Gather client information and history from the Nurse Practitioner.
• Case management duties including coordination of community services.
• Assist clients in building skills including emotion, stress and anger management, communication and interpersonal relationships.
