Allegheny Health Network seeks a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to identify and manage psychiatric problems within the CRNP scope of practice. The role involves recording psychiatric history, planning therapy, ordering tests, interpreting results, and ensuring accurate medical records in a psychiatric setting.

The NP will communicate and coordinate care with patients, families, and the inter-disciplinary team, participate in continuing education, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Competenze

• Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited NP program with specialization.
• State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (CRNP).
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) preferred.
• Experience with psychiatric patients.

Mansioni

• Provides patient care including recording psychiatric history, developing therapeutic care plans, ordering tests and documenting results.
• Communicates plan of care and involves physician for issues outside NP scope.
• Coordinates patient care with family, community services and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains professional development through continuing education and reading.
