Job summary

Haven Behavioral Healthcare, an Oceans Healthcare Company, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to assess, diagnose, and treat patients within our behavioral health system. The NP will work collaboratively to formulate treatment plans, prescribe medications, order tests, educate patients, and ensure accurate records in line with Joint Commission and state regulations.

The role requires a master's in nursing, an active RN license, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certification in the practicing

Qualifications

Must be flexible with work schedule.
Sound knowledge of nursing practice.
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions and exercise sound judgment.
Competent in interpersonal communications, with knowledge of Medicare and regulatory/credentialing standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnosing, conducting, and prescribing medications for patients.
Providing emergency services, physician, and psycho-social examinations.
Developing treatment plans and managing patient care with proper evaluation.
Consulting with patients and families with multiple/complex disorders in collaboration with primary healthcare providers.
Performing invasive procedures as needed.
Educating patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
Performing other duties as assigned.
