Job summary

Canyon Ridge Hospital in the Greater Inland Empire is seeking a Medical Records Technician to join the Health Information Management team, providing clerical and technical support.

The ideal candidate has HIM experience, transcription and filing skills, and familiarity with medical terminology; prior psychiatric terminology exposure is a plus. Canyon Ridge offers competitive compensation and growth within UHS.

Qualifications

• Previous Health Information Management or related experience required.
• Transcription, filing and record-keeping skills.
• Work organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Familiar with general medical terminology needed; psychiatric terminology helpful.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM procedures and use of DSM IV coding procedures highly desirable; general clerical and office procedure skills.
