Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care on our San Jose campus. The role involves coordinating with physicians and supervising staff to maintain high-quality care for clients in crisis and recovery settings.

The position requires CA licensure as LVN/LPT, CPR/first aid, and a background in mental health nursing.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and standards.
• Supervise non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care.
• Operate the unit and direct daily activities of the nursing team.
• Support clients through the recovery process and coordinate care with the treatment team.
