Discovery Behavioral Health in Chicago, IL seeks an LPN/LVN to provide patient-centered nursing care in a behavioral health setting. You will administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care within MAR protocols under RN or provider supervision.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, reinforce education on medication adherence, and ensure safe, compliant documentation. On-site duties support detox and eating-disorder programs with a focus on recovery and safety.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with current state licensure.
• Preferred: experience in behavioral health or chemical dependency.
• Knowledge of medications, dosing, side effects, and toxicity.
• BLS/CPR certification; CPI within 90 days of hire.
• Serv Safe certification within 90 days if applicable to division.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care to a diverse behavioral health population.
• Perform vital signs, basic assessments, and document changes.
• Administer prescribed medications and document MAR timely.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, psychiatrists, and team members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance.
• Promote patient safety and respond to emergencies as needed.
