Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health in Crownsville, MD seeks a licensed LVN/LPN to provide compassionate nursing care for patients with addiction, eating disorders, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Under RN supervision, you will assist with medication administration, monitor vital signs, and contribute to a safe, multidisciplinary treatment environment.

This full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am, Tue/Wed/Fri with alternating Mon/Sat/Sun) offers a $25.00-$33.00 per hour pay range and opportunities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with current licensure in good standing.
• Preferred: experience in behavioral health, chemical dependency, or eating disorders.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or within 90 days of hire.
• CPI and Serv Safe certifications within 90 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a behavioral health setting.
• Perform vital signs and basic assessments for care planning.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document with MAR.
• Document incidents and safety concerns per policy.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other team members.
