Job summary
ACE Wellness Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support mental health and behavioral services. You will deliver compassionate care, administer medications, monitor clients, and document care under supervision.
Requirements include an active LPN license (OH), CPR/BLS, and 1+ year nursing experience. EHR proficiency and strong communication are essential; some local travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Must hold valid LPN license in the state referenced by the posting.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; behavioral health experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
- Ability to work in a behavioral health facility and adhere to privacy laws.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to clients under supervision.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document vital signs and health status.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other providers.
- Educate clients and families about medications and treatment plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation per regulations.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and care planning.
