Job summary

BrightView Health in Newark, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Behavioral Health team. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, HIPAA compliance, and treatment planning in a dynamic setting. LPN licensure and 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or related fields are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health.
• State Licensed Practical Nursing License required.
• Associates degree in nursing or LPN with state medication administration certification.
• Experience with EMR and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Nursing care and medication administration per nursing practice guidelines.
• Conducts assessments and monitors vital signs for treatment decisions.
• Coordinates appointments, attends on-site and MDT meetings, and documents orders in EMR.
• Maintains medication inventory and ensures HIPAA and regulatory compliance; completes EMR documentation.
