Brown University Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Intern to work under the guidance of clinical staff, providing care and safety to children and adolescents. This role includes engaging with patients, documenting observations, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment efforts.
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s program and have a Basic Life Support certification. The position offers a flexible schedule and per diem opportunities in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
The Behavioral Health Intern (BHI) works under the direction of the Clinical Manager (Inpatient) or Program Director (Partial/Residential). The BHI provides care and safety to children and adolescents, contributes to the therapeutic milieu, and documents observations and interventions as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Experience and education as outlined in the Qualifications section. Works under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Program Supervisor and refers complex problems to a supervisor.
Pay Range: $18.00 – $27.13 per hour
