BOS Medical Staffing is seeking HSTs to provide direct personal care and supervision in behavioral health settings in Newnan, GA. Shifts are available immediately with full-time positions and rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include developing individual service plans, teaching life skills, observing client behavior, coordinating medical care, and supporting daily living activities. A background check and CPR certification are required.

Qualificações

• 1 year of Long Term Care experience as HST.
• State issued HST certification.
• CPR certification required.

• Assist with development of an individual service/treatment plan for each client.
• Teach basic life skills in residential, day, or community settings.
• Observe and document client behavior and any incidents.
• Provide training of basic personal/social skills, simple academics, or work skills.
• Arrange for medical care and ensure ongoing treatments are obtained.
• Monitor dietary intake and wellness activities; report changes to the care team.
• Counsel clients on behavioral challenges and daily decision-making.

BOS Medical Staffing is looking for HSTs to work in a behavioral health setting. Shifts are available immediately.

Shift Availability: Full-Time Positions available (including weekend rotation). 6:45A-7:15P: 3 days one week; 4 days the following week; Two rotating weekend per month

Responsibilities

• Provides direct personal care and supervision to individuals diagnosed with a developmental and/or intellectual disability in a residential setting, facility based setting. and/or community environment as needed
• Assists with the development of an individual service/treatment plan for each assigned client
• Teaches basic life skills in residential, day, and/or community based settings
• Observes and monitors client's behavior and documents observations and, if applicable, any incidents
• Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to clients
• Arranges for medical care and provides support to ensure that any ongoing medical treatment is obtained
• Monitors client food intake, functional status, psychosocial status, wellness activities, etc.
• Counsels and advises clients on any behavioral challenges, daily decision‑making, and the resolution of minor problems
• Participates in Individual Service Plan (ISP) meetings/Case Reviews consulting with the team to evaluate the client’s needs and plan for continuing services
• Performs housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes, and running errands
• Involves clients in the planning, shopping for, and preparation of nutritious meals taking into consideration any dietary needs/requirements
• Documents client progress and services provided on a daily basis, reporting any changes in client condition to all members of the client’s direct care treatment team

Requirements

• 1-year Long Term Care experience as HST State issued certification as a HST CPR Certification
• Candidates must pass a criminal background check including an FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Check and Pre‑employment drug screen.
