The Health Federation of Philadelphia invites applications for a full-time Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to join the City of Philadelphia’s Health Centers primary care team. The BHC provides brief, 15-30 minute behavioral health support and conducts assessments within an Integrated Care model for patients from infancy through adulthood.
Ideal candidates are licensed LCSW/LMFT/LPC with at least one year of BHC experience, knowledge of clinical diagnoses, and experience using EHR systems.

The Philadelphia Department of Public Health seeks a full-time Behavioral Health Consultant (BHC) to serve as a member of the primary care provider team within the City of Philadelphia’s Health Centers. BHC will provide brief (15-30 minutes), immediate behavioral health support and intervention to primary care patients. BHC provides assessment, evaluation and treatment for primary care patients, both walk-in and scheduled. BHC serves patients in an Integrated Care capacity within the primary care setting, from infancy through adulthood. This will entail working closely with the primary care provider, patient navigators, and other clinical team members. BHC will refer patients, when appropriate, to specialty and outpatient mental health services. BHC will also serve primary care patients receiving buprenorphine through the MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorder) Program.
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, or as assigned.
