Job summary

Upstate Caring Partners seeks a Compliance Review Specialist to advance our compliance program in Central New York. The role develops recommendations from reviews, drafts protocols, and prepares risk assessments and reports.

Typical hours are 8 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday, with flexible options to meet candidate needs. The ideal candidate has a health/human services background, a minimum of three years' regulatory experience, and proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related health and human service field is required.
• Minimum of three years' experience in human services or regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with common computer programs (Windows, Outlook, Adobe, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal compliance reviews and prepare written reports.
• Perform fraud investigations and summarize findings for leadership.
• Provide training on compliance and documentation to new staff.
• Deliver regulatory training for leadership and staff as needed.
• Support regulatory compliance with program leadership and staff guidance.
• Coordinate with government agencies during reviews of Upstate Caring Partners programs.
• Monitor state, federal, and third-party regulations and suggest program updates.
• Ensure adherence to abuse reporting laws and HIPAA requirements.
