Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time CNA in Nevada to provide safe, competent nursing assistant care for patients in a newly expanded behavioral health setting. The position emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork with a multidisciplinary medical staff.

The role includes bedside shift reporting, adherence to safety protocols, and involvement of patients and families in care planning. Night shift hours and full benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited C.N.A. program.
• Current Nevada C.N.A. license.
• Current BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Completes Bedside shift report in the room at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Meets with Supervising RN at the beginning of each shift to receive delegation of tasks.
• Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care.
• Follows facility policies and procedures to promote patient safety (i.e., safe environment, equipment safety practices, radiation safety, fire prevention).
• Adheres to fall precautions by performing/assisting patients with toileting/ADL care and never leaving the patient alone.

Education

Graduate of an accredited C.N.A program

Current Nevada C.N.A. license
