Job summary

Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, CT is seeking a CNA for the Behavioral Health/Acute Psych unit on a night shift. Unit features a 50-bed Behavioral Health Hospital setting.

You will perform basic nursing care under supervision of a licensed nurse, including meals, transfers, ambulation, bathing, toileting and grooming per the treatment plan. The position is 32 hours per week, every other weekend, night shift.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meals, nourishments, and personal care.
• Transfer residents using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Ambulate, bathe, toilet, dress and groom residents as directed.
• Follow treatment plans designed to meet each resident's age, needs and abilities.
