Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s OSU Harding Hospital provides extensive behavioral health services in central Ohio. The Behavioral Health Clinician 3 role supports Partial/Intensive Outpatient Programs, performing diagnostic evaluations, group and individual psychotherapy, and treatment planning.

You will work with a clinical team, document thoroughly, and engage families when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Education required for Ohio licensure.
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III (LCDC) required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; 0–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation for patients with mental health concerns referred to OSU Harding Hospital Partial/IOPs.
• Provide counseling/psychotherapy/psychoeducation to groups and individuals with mental & behavioral disorders.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans to help patients meet treatment goals.
• Advocate within the local community; work as part of a clinical team; maintain third-party payer relationships; complete all necessary paperwork.
