Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery seeks a dedicated Case Manager for our Stith Center in Aurora, CO. You will provide comprehensive behavioral case management in collaboration with employment specialists, peers and therapists.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, valid Colorado license, and strong communication skills. Language ability to English and Spanish is a plus, with bilingual differential pay potential. This is a fully onsite, term-limited, 40-hour week with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related human services field.
• Or Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field with at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver's License with a driving record that meets organization's requirements.
• Demonstrated interest in behavioral health field.
• Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Effective organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Serve as payee for clients who require assistance to manage their finances.
• Help clients meet basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety and general health care, and assist with applications for benefits.
• Arrange transportation to access needed services.
• Provide psychosocial services to improve functioning.
• Help clients set goals and plan for appropriate services.
• Instruct clients in daily living skills such as medication use, diet, and budgeting.
• Encourage development of social skills and leisure activities.
• Assist clients in finding employment opportunities or vocational services.
• Support families and community partners to maximize client benefits.
• Leverage community networks and natural supports to engage clients in treatment.
