Family Ties Enterprises, Inc. in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a Billing Assistant – Eligibility & Denials to support our revenue cycle in a hybrid, full-time role. You will handle eligibility checks, COB resolution, denial analysis, and payer follow-up to move claims toward payment.

The position emphasizes accurate billing, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with intake, clinical and billing staff to reduce denials and improve cash flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in healthcare billing, insurance verification, claims processing, denial management, or related RCM.
• Working knowledge of Insurance eligibility, Medicaid/CMO, Commercial insurance, COB, Authorizations, and denials.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility (Medicaid/CMO, commercial) and confirm coverage details.
• Investigate COB issues and identify the correct primary payer.
• Review denied or unpaid claims and submit corrections or appeals.
