Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The Behavioral Health Associate will provide evidence-based psychotherapy services for individuals, families, and groups within the Baylor Psychiatry Clinic. This position requires independent, advanced professional work involving medical and psychiatric social work services, including psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, care coordination, and the provision of therapeutic interventions to support patients with behavioral health needs. In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, the Behavioral Health Associate will support clinic operations and behavioral health program initiatives by assisting with patient intake and triage processes, care coordination, referral management, resource navigation, waitlist oversight, and continuity of care activities. The position will collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, trainees, social workers, and administrative staff to facilitate efficient clinic workflows, support patient access to services, assist with quality improvement and program development efforts, and contribute to the overall operational success of the clinic.
This position supports Baylor Psychiatry Clinic operations through patient access management, referral coordination, waitlist oversight, and continuity of care activities. Assists with assignment and coordination of patients to faculty, trainees, and therapy providers to optimize clinic access and service delivery. Coordinates group therapy program logistics, patient enrollment, and related administrative activities.
This position is located at our McNair Campus.
