Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services seeks a Behavioral Health Assistant for the Abilene State Supported Living Center. The role supports skills acquisition, PBSP/SAP implementation, and data collection to guide treatment decisions.

You will work under supervision with a focus on training direct care staff, data entry, and collaboration with the Behavioral Health team to improve resident wellness and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college with psychology major preferred.
• Experience in psychological work preferred.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of treatment strategies and SAPs.
• Train staff in PBSP/SAP implementation.
• Collect and report behavioral data.
