Children’s Institute (CII) in California seeks an experienced supervisor to lead clinical and administrative staff, ensure high standards, compliance with HIPAA and licensing, and support the delivery of quality client care.
The role supervises up to 10 staff, provides training, oversees documentation, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and maintain program integrity.
Ensures that services provided by assigned staff are in keeping with high standards and quality, and in full compliance with all relevant legal, ethical, licensing, contractual and agency standards and expectations. Responsible for timely and appropriate clinical and administrative supervision, training and guidance, for assigned staff, to support their success in providing and documenting client care services and meeting or exceeding agency expectations.

This job supervises up to 10 staff.
3 years of managerial, supervisory experience. Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field required.
Possesses a valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance. Required to travel extensively per month (>50% of the time). Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to handle confidential information. Maintains patient privacy, including protecting the confidentiality, safeguarding the integrity and availability, and limiting the use and disclosure of patient Protected Health Information (PHI) to authorized individuals and entities. Participates in, conducts, and sustains performance quality improvement activities according to designated role and responsibilities. Possesses strong knowledge of perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health. Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Ability to deliver and supervise trauma informed care practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Punctual and dependable attendance. Free from alcohol and drug abuse. Understands CII’s basic philosophy and participates fully in carrying out its mission.

$73,601.00 USD - $85,469.00 USD In accordance with California law, the expected pay range for this position is included in this posting. The actual compensation will be determined based on factors permitted by law. New hires will be offered a salary at the starting point of the range to maintain internal inequity and allow opportunity for future salary growth. CII salaries are determined based on comprehensive internal and external market analysis, as well as the skills, education, and experience relevant to each position.
