Job summary

New Directions Mental Health in Ambridge, PA is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Transformations Care Network team. You will provide psychiatric assessments, ongoing psychopharmacologic management, and collaborate with in-house therapists to support patients on their mental health journeys.

Experience in outpatient behavioral health is preferred. Certification PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych is a plus, and a flexible, team-based approach is encouraged within a

Advanced Practice Providers work collaboratively across disciplines and appreciate the partnership of our in-house therapists who help to support their patients on their mental health journeys. We support the growth and development of these team members through education, supervision, and leadership opportunities. We believe in leading the mental health field with evidence-based treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato. These treatment methods provide our clinical teams with the tools they need to deliver real transformation for their patients.

This role is eligible for a $5,000 hiring incentive at this location for qualified candidates.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing psychopharmacological management.

About You:

• Licensed and Board Certified in the state where the clinic is located.
• Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with behavioral health experience (required)
• Psychiatric-Mental Health certification (PMHNP-BC or CAQ-Psych) (preferred)
• Experience working in an outpatient setting (preferred)
• Experience working with clients across the lifespan (preferred)

New Directions Mental Health is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this role is $120,000 – $165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities available for this role. These ranges represent our current standard compensation practices and may be adjusted over time to remain competitive and aligned with organizational needs.
