Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
• Experience in a correctional mental health setting preferred.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in related field preferred (Art, Art therapy, Mental Health, etc).

Responsibilities

• Lead individual and group activities of a physical, social, and cultural nature.
• Plan treatment goals with the behavioral health team.
• Coordinate recreation therapy with other therapeutic programs.
• Maintain records and document patient progress.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
