Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one following each person's ISP to promote independence and daily living success.

This role offers flexible scheduling with day, evening, and weekend shifts, local cases close to home, and a supportive management team. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not required; if you don't have it, it can be obtained after

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving, DSP, or human services experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

We are a DDD-focused agency offering consistent hours, local cases, and a supportive team that sets Direct Support Professionals up for success.

Position Overview

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with ASG Home Care, you will provide hands‑on support that promotes independence, community engagement, and daily living success. As a Direct Support Professional, you will work one‑on‑one with individuals in both home and community settings while following each person's Individualized Service Plan (ISP).

Key Responsibilities as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

• Provide individualized home and community‑based support to individuals with developmental disabilities

• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation
