Job summary

Asapphealthcare is seeking a Behavioral Assistant in a hybrid role based in Hammonton, NJ. You will provide in-home and community interventions, support youth with treatment goals, and model effective coping strategies for families.

The position requires a High School Diploma, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. You will document timely updates, participate in team meetings, and coordinate with community resources as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience working with youth and families.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face interventions in-home and within the community.
• Support the Child Family Team and youth with treatment goals.
• Model coping strategies for youth and caregivers.
• Submit documentation on a timely basis.
• Attend child-family team meetings with youth’s support system.
• Crisis intervention when needed.
• Attend agency trainings and monthly supervision.
• Connect youth and family to community resources when appropriate.

Behavioral Assistant- Hybrid

Contractor - 1099 Main Office, hammonton, NJ, US

Salary Range: $25.00 To $35.00 Hourly

Behavioral Assistance (BA)

Behavioral Assistance services is an analytical, focused goal oriented, and needs based intervention that addresses emotional and behavioral challenges of youth with moderate to high needs. Behavioral Assistance services help the family and the youth to develop and practice healthy and positive coping strategies and techniques. The intervention focuses on addressing target behaviors and improving overall emotional, behavioral regulation abilities. Services are primarily completed on a weekly basis within the community and/or the place of residence of a family and individual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Child Family Team and youth with accomplishing treatment goals.
• Provide face-to-face interventions in-home and within the community.

Requirements:
