Job summary

A dedicated autism therapy clinic is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to implement individualized plans and support children with autism. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and can help create positive therapeutic relationships. Responsibilities include data collection and collaboration with a BCBA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for entry‑level BT roles; psychology degree helpful.
• Experience as an RBT is a plus but not required.
• Availability Monday – Friday from 7:45 am – 4:30 pm.
• Experience in childcare or related fields is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect data on patient progress and behavior.
• Build rapport and establish a therapeutic relationship with patients.
• Collaborate with the BCBA to update behavior intervention plans.
• Maintain confidentiality with all PHI.
• Support a positive clinic culture.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
• Collect and record data on an iPad about patient progress and behavior.
• Build rapport and establish a positive, therapeutic relationship with patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review and update behavior intervention plans.
• Ensure that all interventions are applied consistently with ethical and professional standards while maintaining confidentiality with all PHI.
• Contribute as a positive team member – supporting the creation and maintenance of an inclusive clinic culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field preferred for entry‑level BT roles; a psychology degree is helpful.
• Experience as an RBT is great but NOT required.
• Available Monday – Friday from 7:45 am – 4:30 pm.
• Experience and passion for working with children. Prior experience in areas such as childcare provider, nanny, daycare teacher, teacher’s assistant, SpEd teacher, special education, summer camp counselor, swim teacher, coach, mental health technician, pediatric therapist, pediatric nurse, ABA therapist, behavior therapist, or a degree in psychology has proven successful for RBTs.
• Willingness to go above and beyond for teammates and patients by creating a sense of belonging and connection.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to move quickly in response to patient needs.
