Behavior Therapist, Pediatric ABA – Clinic‑Based

North Shore Pediatric Therapy – 1318 Waukegan Rd., Glenview, IL

Pay: $19/hour to start; $22.50/hour after RBT certification (paid training). Multiple schedules available: mornings, evenings, Saturdays.

This is an entry‑level ABA therapy position. No prior clinical experience is required. We hire full‑time and part‑time candidates, provide training, pay for RBT certification, and offer mentorship from day one.

We are looking for someone who is good with children, stays calm under pressure, and is interested in a career in behavioral health, child psychology, ABA, special education, occupational therapy, or speech‑language pathology.

What a Behavior Technician Does

As a BT, you work 1:1 with autistic children ages 2–12, implementing therapy plans created by a BCBA. You provide a steady, supportive presence in each child’s day.

You will spend most of the day with kids, be on your feet, engaged, and consistent—essential for building trust and progress.

What We Do Differently

We practice assent‑based, neuro‑affirming care: we follow each child's lead, honor boundaries, and build trust before teaching new skills. You will collaborate with occupational therapists, speech‑language pathologists, and mental health professionals in an interdisciplinary environment.

Available Schedules

Both tracks start at $19/hour with a clear RBT‑certification path.

Full‑Time

• Monday–Friday, 8am or 9am start

Part‑Time

• 3pm start + Saturdays required
• Minimum 15 hours per week
