Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) in Chesterfield, MO to work full-time in a center setting. The BT will deliver 1:1 ABA-based sessions, document progress, and help implement client treatment plans to improve communication and independence.

No prior behavioral health experience is required, and the company provides paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 client sessions under supervision.

We utilize a results-oriented approach based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) to assess how clients interact with their environment and respond to social cues, and you’ll play a crucial part in helping build skills and document progress. You’ll start your day playing and encouraging little learners, all while incorporating targets from each client’s individualized treatment plan and promoting the development of essential skills. Requirements

• Availability to work full-time between the hours of 8:0 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Centers are open periodically on Saturdays for make-up client sessions.)
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must obtain RBT within 75 days of employment.
