Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our center-based team in Powell, TN. You will work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under supervision of a BCBA, collecting data and helping implement individualized treatment plans.

You’ll support families through training and communication, maintain confidentiality, and stay adaptable in a fast-paced environment. This role offers part-time or full-time hours with training and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience with behavioral challenges or ASD preferred.
• Reliable transportation and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information.
• Physically capable of assisting children 2-15 years old.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s); this includes lifting 25+ pounds and other activities.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
