Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to join a national behavioral health team providing 1-1 ABA services in home settings for children from birth to 21 years old. BTs work with BCBAs to implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and train families in the home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience providing support to individuals with behavioral challenges or special needs preferred
• Exposure to autism or developmental disabilities preferred, training provided
• Reliable transportation to commute to work locations
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies
• Strong multi-tasking and organization in a fast-paced environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home implementing behavioral plans designed by a BCBA
• Collect data to monitor progress and report on treatment effectiveness
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing plans
• Respond to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families and supervisors
• Assist clients with activities requiring movement (lifting 25+ pounds, etc.) and stay engaged with children 2–15 years old
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities
