Job summary

Proud Moments ABA seeks Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA services in a center-based setting. You will partner with BCBAs to implement treatment plans and monitor progress for children on the autism spectrum.

Ideal candidates are reliable, have a passion for working with children, and can adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with children preferred.
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental challenges preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to sites.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with clients to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report outcomes.

Proud Moments ABA is a national behavioral health organization, providing the gold standard of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We are looking for Behavior Technicians (BT's) to join our growing team. Our BT's are an essential part of the treatment team- providing 1-1 specialized treatment in partnership with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts to our clients in a center-based setting.If you are looking for a career that allows you to provide life changing treatment to children this could be the role for you-if you have the passion we have the training!

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client to implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan and report progress
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable partiesPhysically keep up with clients as they move about the session area(s). This will require many physical activities including, but not limited to, standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling, and generally keeping pace with children from 2-15 years old
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children preferred
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities

Schedule: Monday - Friday (5 days a week) 3pm-7pm or 4pm-7pm
