Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA guidance. This role offers comprehensive training so you can help children reach their full potential.

No prior experience required—training provided. You’ll teach communication, social, and daily living skills, stay active with the kids, and help ensure safety, including lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test within a year.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA with data collection and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist with safety, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
