Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Blue Bell, PA, seeks Behavior Technicians to support children ages 2–6 with autism through play-based ABA using the ESDM framework. Provide one-on-one therapy in our center and follow plans created by master's-level clinicians.

The role offers paid RBT training, opportunities for advancement, a guaranteed 30-hour minimum for full-time, and a supportive, multidisciplinary team. A high school diploma is required; candidates with childcare experience are preferred.

Description

At Soar Autism Center, Behavior Technicians help children ages 2-6 with autism learn, communicate, and grow through play. Our care is based on the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This is a great early career opportunity to build hand-on experience in psychology and child development while making a meaningful impact every day.

This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about helping children grow and may come from childcare, daycare, paraprofessional, direct support, behavioral health, education, or caregiving backgrounds.

What You'll Do

Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in our center.

Implement individualized plans created by Master's-level clinicians and share progress with families.

Bring skills from childcare, daycare, education, caregiving, or paraprofessional work into a highly supported clinical environment.

What We Offer

$21.50 - $28.50/hour; initial offers are typically $21.50-$22.75/hour, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. Sign on bonus included with all offers.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification); preference for enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree program, with ideal candidates pursuing degrees in child development, psychology, education, or a related field.

Experience working with children is preferred, including childcare, daycare, caregiving, paraprofessional, direct support, or behavioral health experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within 6 weeks of employment.

Reliable transportation, punctuality, teamwork, and comfort using computers/tablets.

Ability to sit, stand, kneel, move quickly, occasionally run short distances, and lift up to 50 lbs.
